Hiring shouldn’t be complicated—that’s why our process isn’t.

We approach every step of the interview process as a conversation. You’re learning about us as much as we’re learning about you, so feel free to ask any questions you have along the way.

We’ve crafted an outline of our hiring process below so you know exactly what to expect at each step. Plus, we’ve thrown in some handy tips to help you shine along the way.

While we’re never perfect, we’ve aimed to build a process that fosters fairness and helps to minimize bias, and this includes structured processes and interviews. Our goal is that everyone interviewed has a positive experience, regardless of the outcome. If you feel your experience or the process could have been better, or have any other feedback, please reach out.

All interviews are done remotely via Google Meet. If you need any accommodations during the hiring process, please reach out to People & Culture.

Step ① | Your application

Send us your resume and a note about how your story connects to ours. Feel free to focus on what you’ve learned in your career rather than just past roles and responsibilities.

We aim to respond to you quickly, usually within a week of applying. However, our response time varies based on the volume of applicants. Also, at this time, we only contact successful candidates but feel free to follow up if you haven’t heard from us a week after your application.

If it feels like a good fit, People & Culture will email you to arrange a time to chat.

Pro Tip: Take your time and make sure you answer all of the application questions and don’t forget to include a link to your portfolio (if asked for one). While a cover letter isn’t mandatory, feel free to use the Personal Summary field to share any additional information about you or your application that you think we need to know!

Step ② | Screening call

During your call People & Culture, will give you the inside scoop on WTC, the role and the team. They will chat with you about your experience, focusing on the skills we’re looking for. This screening call is standardized for fairness, but with enough room to ask questions and make an impression.

We’ll communicate our salary range, discuss working hours and expectations and note any upcoming time off you might have. If we both agree it feels like a good fit, you’ll receive an invite to continue to the next stage. Regardless of whether we’ll be moving forward with the next round, you’ll hear from us in about two business days.
